- David "Tank" Tankersly has completed an interim pastorate at College View Baptist Church and moved to San Antonio.

- The T. B. Maston Christian Ethics Lectures will feature Melissa Rogers from Wake Forest University's Divinity School. Her lectures will include "The Past, Present, and Potential Future of First Amendment Rules Regarding Religion in Public Schools" on Monday at 7:00 pm in the Logsdon Chapel, and "Religion on the Stump, Politics in the Pulpit: Faith and Politics in the 2008 Race" on Tuesday at 9:30 am in Logsdon Chapel. The lectures are free and open to the public.
