FROM THE NURSING HOME MINISTER
There are times when the Lord really blesses the ministry. One such time was the 2 P.M. Worship Service at Chisholm House on March 10th. The devotional was entitled "The Love Song of the Groom for the Bride" from Song of Solomon 2: 1-4, 16. The residents attending were Willie Middleton, Ola Steward, Ila Lindsey, Pat Edmondson, and Bertha Holstein, and their input really added to the devotional. We discussed about Jesus being the Lily of the Valley and that this flower is a special distinctive blue flower that stands out against the flowers growing in Israel. We discussed that the Lord is our "Shadow" (verse 3) protecting us and providing for our needs. Isn't the Lord our Great and Awesome God! A great time was enjoyed by all!
